Moonstone Comfort

During my time at Marketfleet Inc. we managed the product design, product photography, branding, and marketing for a total of 11 in-house brands. Products were sold strictly through e-commerce channels such as; Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, Walmart, to name a few. Managing so many brands the design team wore many hats. Some days we were technical writers and manual designers, others we were product design engineers.

I was tasked to design a line of weighted blankets in various sizes to be sold during the holiday season. After combing through reviews online I found many customers were overheated when using our blankets between the weight and the fleece material: it wasn’t breathable. So we worked with our warehouse distributor and were able to secure Bamboo Cotton as a cooler and more suitable alternative to our original Minky Fleece variation. It definitely was a surreal moment seeing something I designed sold and distributed on Amazon - you can even still purchase one of these designs today!
